Asthma
What is Asthma?
Asthma is a disease affecting the bronchi or the airways of the lungs. It is usually blocked by an inflammation of mucus or by the present of dust molecules. This is because the cilia (tiny hair cells) in our bronchi stops working efficiently causing the lungs to be filled with dust and mucus in a liquefied form.
Sometimes the inflammation may cause the lungs to be sensitive to various environments and may cause other symptoms to rise which may cause discomfort to the patient. As the pathways become smaller the oxygen taken in less in amount compared to a normal persons oxygen amount. At the left I will show how the the airways of an asthmatic person differs to a normal person with a healthy lung airway. As you can see here there is a blocked bronchi which is blocked by mucus and dust but as you can see at the right you can see that the bronchi is not blocked by signs of mucus and dust.
ASTHMA IS INCURABLE BUT WITH A PROPER LIFESTYLE AND ENVIRONMENT A PERSON MAY BE ABLE TO LIVE WITH ASTHMA. SURPRISING!!!!

Asthma Attack
What is it?
It is an attack where symptoms in asthma are more worse and serious compared to a normal asthmatic people.
What happens during an asthma attack?
What is it?
It is an attack where symptoms in asthma are more worse and serious compared to a normal asthmatic people.
What happens during an asthma attack?
- The muscles around your airways tighten up, narrowing the airway.
- Less air is able to flow through the airway.
- Inflammation of the airways increases, further narrowing the airway.
- More mucus is produced in the airways, undermining or stonewalling the flow of air even more.
Why is it difficult for people to exercise during Asthma?
At some points it is very difficult for people to do exercise especially anaerobic exercises because lack of oxygen is supplied to the heart which pumps blood with that small amount of oxygen. So when people exercise they are afraid that it might cause an asthma attack which can drastically worsen symptoms in the human body. So in conclusion people with asthma find it difficult to exercise because

So when people exercise they are afraid that it might cause an asthma attack which can drastically worsen symptoms in the human body. So in conclusion people with asthma find it difficult to exercise because
- Lack of oxygen is being supplied to the body due to the blockage of the bronchi in which it breaks down to bronchioles and forms a grape like structure called the alveoli where the oxygen is gathered connected with capillaries to fuse the oxygen with the blood.
- Anxious because it may cause a serious asthma attack. So in serious cases if a person does not have any right equipment for asthma it can cause serious dangers.
Asthma Triggers
What is it?
Asthma triggers are something that ten dot worsen the main disease asthma in many forms. It is basically a catalyst in worsening the disease. There are few factors in which asthma is triggered and sometimes those factors can cause worsening symptoms and may lead to asthmatic attack where conditions of a patient are worse compared to normal asthma attacks. The image below shows the triggers of an asthma.
These are some of the asthmatic triggers.

What should people do when they have asthma?
Here are the lists of what should people do when they have asthma:
These are the most common things a patient can do if he/she is going through asthma or asthmatic attacks.
Here are the lists of what should people do when they have asthma:
- CONTROL their asthma limits:
- Chronic and troublesome symptoms (coughing and shortness of breath) are prevented and occur no more than 2 days per week.
- There is little need for quick-relief medicines or they are needed less than 2 days per week.
- You maintain good lung function.
- Your activity level remains normal.
- Your sleep level remains normal and symptoms do not wake you from sleep more than 1 to 2 nights per month.
- You do not need emergency medical treatment.
- Your peak flow stays above 80% of your personal best number.
- Use the Peak Flow meter to check how well the air moves in and out of your body. It works by blowing the released air out of your lungs to the meter. It shows a personal best number and after 2-3 weeks of checking if the peak flow data is above 80% it is improving it's condition.
- Have a constant check to the doctor for every 2-6 weeks. Like this a patient can get the necessary information they need for their check ups.
- The inhaler can be used to relief the patient TEMPORARILY. For long term improvements a patient must know their common trigger and try their best to stay or use the right equipment according to the trigger.
- Emergency care can be great if a person is not showing any signs of improvement. Like this daily check ups and lung scans can be made in order to prevent
- Although asthma does not kill on the scale of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or other chronic diseases, failure to use appropriate medications or to adhere to treatment can lead to death.
These are the most common things a patient can do if he/she is going through asthma or asthmatic attacks.
